Our Veterinarian

Dr. Mathew T. Varughese (DVM) provides veterinary care for all types of dogs and cats. Dr. Mathew has been practicing for 12 years.  Before opening his private practice in 2000,  Dr. Mathew was employed by the U. S. Department of Agriculture as a veterinarian. Later he worked for the City of Detroit and took on a position in Hillsdale, MI.

Dr. Mathew has extensive knowledge in veterinary medicine and his experience in animal control has made him an expert in his field, honing such skills as pediatric spay and neuter, care of abused and neglected animals, etc.

Our Business

Amazon Animal Clinic started in 2000 in our Garden City location and have now moved to a new expanded location in Westland, MI since September 2008.

Community Service

Amazon Animal Clinic is proud to provide services to the Shelter to Home, Inc Rescue Team. Shelter to Home works to save impounded animals in the Downriver Area of Metro Detroit by placing them in a home foster care setting until permanent and loving homes can be found.
